Psychedelic mushrooms, Greek for mind-manifesting, have been used as a sacramental substance by humans for thousands of years. In fact, the Stoned Ape theory proposes magic mushrooms sparked the evolution of our species. Before the Spanish prohibited their use in the 16th century, the Native peoples of Mexico used Psilocybin mushrooms in religious ceremonies and for healing. ¹ Research from major medical institutions like Johns Hopkins, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies, Yale and others is demonstrating the healing power of psychedelics. A large 2021 NYU psilocybin study notes that evidence “supports not only the therapeutic potential of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, but also the importance of integrating spiritual aspects of psychedelic experiences.” ² My personal experiences, as well as those with individuals and couples for whom I have served as a psychedelic guide resonate. The sacred substance blesses devotees with spiritual growth and improvement in quality of life.
Akin to a religious awakening, transcendental sexual escapades change what one values and desires. Revelatory moments are triggered in sexual states. The ancient philosophy of Tantra illuminates this path to empowerment. Tantric living stresses the importance of experimentation and experience in fulfilling one’s purpose. Engage in a weave of principles, practices, and rituals to harness Life Force Energy. How do you awaken pleasure and unleash your inner Sex God or Goddess? Love yourself first to manifest power. Tantra is an art, but education is a science. Research shows that many of Tantra’s sacred sexual traditions are highly effective. The evidence-based activities in this workbook are best practices for enhancing intimacy and pleasure. Accessing new levels of consciousness by blending sacred sexuality with magic mushrooms may spark a pleasure revolution.
